Firebrat (Thermobia domestica) Starter Culture
 
They like it hot, place a small pot with a sponge soaked with water in the enclosure, they don’t like much humidity at all.
Use a basking light over the top or a heat mat on the side.
 
How We Keep Ours
We use 5lt buckets or 5.8lt Braplast containers with holes cut out on the side and top covered with a fine wire mesh. We add plenty of card, egg cartons and toilet roll tubes for hiding spaces.

Food
We use a layer of around 1cm of oats on the bottom for food and add in the occasional dog/cat biscuit or fish flakes for a source of other food.
 
You can feed them to small inverts such as spiders and mantids.
