How I Keep Mine
Housing:
Keep your white worm culture in any kind of see through plastic container (takeaway containers work well. Plenty of ventilation using small holes on the lid.
When your white worm culture starts to smell, then you'll need to feed them off or start new white worm cultures.
Substrate:
I keep my white worm culture on damp leaf litter with a little peat moss or coco coir mixed in.
If you notice your white worms climbing up the sides of your container and on the lid, this is a sign that your substrate is too wet and/or your white worm culture is starting to crash. If this happens, just start a new culture.
Temperature:
White worms breed very well at lower temperatures of around 12-15ºC / 53-59ºF
Humidity:
White worm cultures will thrive with a humidity of around 52-68%
Food:
Feeding your white worms is easy, just add fish flakes or pre soaked dog/cat biscuits
